Design types

Solid

Solid boards are the most natural form for floorboards. They are sawn out of full wood and not combined or glued. Solid pur natur boards can be sanded down many times and thus last for generations. The solid type allows us to produce the longest and widest boards that exist.

 

3-layer

3-layer boards, often called parquet boards or multi-layered boards, consist of a surface layer, a middle layer and a backing. At pur natur, the surface layer of the 3-layer Douglas boards consists of 6mm of the best Douglas sawn veneer. The middle layer is a middle strip of spruce. The backing is in softwood.
